Grabbing Your Customers

Well, I’ve finally managed to steal some time procrastinating while reviewing WebLogic 9.2 training material for next week, and I found this very interesting link in my ‘Blog This’ bookmark folder. It’s an oldy, but a goody:

Really good article about making your front page as concise and grabbing as possible – conveying what you’re all about in the incredibly small window you have a reader’s attention for.

The examples in the post really drive the point home. I think I’m going to tinker a bit with a main splash page for nerdfu.net to try and follow the principle – I’ve been thinking about putting some sort of professional face on the domain to let people know what I’m about.
